About the author

Hello and welcome to Until Our Independence.

I created this blog about Côte d’Ivoire in December 2009, to share my thoughts and opinion about my country with the Internets. The blog and the content have evolved since, but the aim is the same: keep readers posted about Côte d’Ivoire, Africa, international affairs and other subjects that matter to yours truly.

Who am I? 26 years-old Ivorian from Cocody, Abidjan. I studied political science with a focus on African politics and conflicts in developing countries.

Feel free to send me any feedback, comments or suggestions about the site. If you have something you would like to share on Until Our Independence, such as a guest post, a link  or anything else, please send me an email.

    Dear Author,

I would like to get in touch with you because I am about to write a study on Cote d’Ivoire from legal and sociological aspects. I can use only the official and semi-official statistical data and studies published by international actors, such as NGOs or random experts.
I would like to use some qualitative data too, like interviews and so on. This is why I ask for your help. (:
I am 23 and I am from Hungary; I work for the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (www.ecre.org) as an intern, studied social science and economics, and will continue my studies on the field of migration and asylum.

I am looking forward to hear from you soon!
    Best regards,

    Rita Teller
